D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

I couldn't agree more
JC tweet:
"In Eberron, changelings have the Shapechanger trait. That means a changeling is, indeed, a shapechanger. #DnD"

Despite their stat block not mentionning it. The tweet you mentions refer to NPC Changeling (who have the shapechanger subtype), the precision from KB is that it apply to PC as well, while the PC race don't have this subtype.

Yes, they are Shapechanger because It has Shapechanger trait as Werewolf, Doppalganger, Mimic, all with Shapechanger tag.
Shapechanger trait is not a magical transformation.

No, its natural transformation, like Changeling, Overlords and Rakshasa.

It doesn't happen with Metallic Dragons and SK and they also doesn't have Tag Shapechanger.
And since KB said that Overlords, Rakshasah and Changeling all lack a fixed form, it means that if stat blocks of PC Changeling should be read as having the Shapechanger trait while they don't have it for PC races (we're not talking about NPCs), then all of the three must have the Shapechanger traits in Eberron and can't be subjected to Polymorph. QED.

You have absolutely no ground to say that SK is to be treated differently than Changelings. Both their transformation are natural as per Keith Baker, and it results that in Eberron, they get a Shapechanger trait despite their stat block not mentionning it.

I very strongly disagree. Again. Her Transformation is explicit magical and they lack of Shapechanger trait and She doesn't have Shapechanger tag. Sorry, Are you hard to understand?

Sul Khatesh: It lacks Shapechanger trait and It's magical transformation

Change Shape: Sul Khatesh magically polymorphs into a humanoid, beast, or giant that has a challenge rating no higher than her own, or back into her true form. She reverts to her true form if she dies. Any equipment she is wearing or carrying is absorbed or borne by the new form (Sul Khatesh's choice).

Mimic: It has Shapechanger trait, Shapechanger tag and It a natural transformation

Shapechanger: The mimic can use its action to Polymorph into an object or back into its true, amorphous form. Its Statistics are the same in each form. Any Equipment it is wearing or carrying isn 't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

She isn't a shapechanger by RAW. Sorry.

Neither do Changeling PCs, yet they are, by KB explicit explanations, immune to Polymorph by virtue of lacking a fixed form. Same goes with Overlords and Rakshasas. If you don't want to abide to Keith Baker's vision, don't use Eberron. It's not hard to understand.

Besides, even if you could force her to expand LR by casting Polymorph (while you have a better argument doing it with damage dealing spells and pleading to the DM), you didn't answer how the Cheating One would survive after making himself known by issuing telepathic orders after a failed Planar Biding.

The Hunt:

Planar Binding:

Remembering here, these creatures are not necessarily mentioned, but The Bastion will dominate any powerful creature, we will dominate everything in his path.

All them have low charisma saving through and easily binded.

Orcus command:
"Wizards challenge you, defeat them all, turn them into your undead slaves."

Yeenoghu:
"Wizards challenge you, defeat them all eat your meat as a reward."

Zuggtmoy:
"Wizards challenge you, defeat them all"

Juiblex:
"Wizards challenge you, defeat them all"

Baphomet:
"Wizards challenge you, defeat them all, turn him into dust"

Pit fiends, Rakshasas, Arcanaloths, Planetars, Deva, Genies, Ki-rin

Arcanaloth: "Dispel every wizard's magic"

Genies with Wish and True Polymorph can be devasting:

Elder Tempest for Sweet:

Screaming Gale (Costs 3 Actions). The tempest releases a blast of thunder and wind in a line that is 1 mile long and 20 feet wide. Objects in that area take 22 (4d10) thunder damage. Each creature there must succeed on a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw or take 22 (4d10) thunder damage and be flung up to 60 feet in a direction away from the line. If a thrown target collides with an immovable object, such as a wall or floor, the target takes 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it was thrown before impact. If the target would collide with another creature instead, that other creature must succeed on a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or take the same damage and be knocked prone.

In addition to The Bastion Hunting, that is unbeatiable.

For those Demon Lords, "Wizards challenged you" means "the guy who cast a spell and tried to boss me around." They will call in all resources (they each cultivate a cult and minions) and single-mindedly pursue THAT Wizard.
INT 10 strikes again.

They can't even know that was a Planar Binded. And no, The Sorcerer isn't Wizards. The Sorcerers are just better. Hahahah
10 Int more smarter than any Wizard with 20 int.
Poor Wizards.

Yes. We even warned him. He's better at D&D rules than Crawford, better at Eberron than Keith Baker and better at English than Merriam-Webster.

The Demon Lords you mentioned Do. Not. Care. about character class. They only care "somebody used a spell to try to tell me what to do".

You precipitated a hunt, all right, but not of whom you think.

Anyone of these with Detect Magic are quickly going to notice the Planar Binding. That assumes(DM Fiat) that it isn't noticeable that you're under magical control in the first place.
