D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

Give me a page number for that.
It's the poster's misunderstanding of the Initiative rules. That misunderstanding of those rules leads to his idea that he can autowin any of these "duels" because he believes he can act before they can even know he is there, even if they have abilities or items or whatever that mean they cannot be surprised. It's why he's lost both combats which were actually played by the rules.

For someone who claims to know the rules perfectly, he ... doesn't.

No. you are wrong. Not me. I already proved that.

(Also, @fearsomepirate , AL fixed Sim that way? My own fix is to disallow them to have spell slots above 6th level, which plausibly also nukes a broader range of shenanigans.)

Yeah. 6th version of the rules.

I also like to remind people that, while the players may be rules lawyers, the DM is the rules judge, the rules jury, and the rules executioner (a job which he delegates to Yeenoghu as necessary).

I'll make it clear.
Bastion has unbeatiable stealth check.
Unbeatiable.
It can kill any Wizard subtly and with no chance of being affected for them. Can bind powerful creatures.
But, he is tired of cowards and goes into combat outside hidding.

Laugh at his face and call for combat.
Again I understand why you want no magic items, but claiming you can hide all day is really nonsense.
It's written in the PHB the DM decides if the circumstances are appropriate for hiding not YOU

Actually the rule of the encounter he proposes is:

1. No hiding shenanningans.
2. He's 650 ft above the Wizard on his Planar Bound Nightmare.

Which negates problem and quibble over hiding.

As far as I know, once the direction and distance of the contingency will be precised (or dropped as illegal), this will be the first legal build posted, one that can be competed against.

I see you're learning tricks from wizards! That's good. Except you need to cast the spell at the moment of you cast the (wished for, I suppose) contingency, so you must specify the location where you teleport to, for example by stating distance and direction. You can't select it once the contingency is triggered.

Fiery Destruction of the Character sheet triggers again because of your contingency... (besides, I am not sure you can use metamagic on contingent spells, but I don't see reason to object to it). You could however change it to like 743 ft down if you want.)
"Contingency:
You cast that spell—called the contingent spell—as part of casting contingency, expending spell slots for both, but the contingent spell doesn’t come into effect. Instead, it takes effect when a certain circumstance occurs. You describe that circumstance when you cast the two spells"

Here it is clear, I need to specify only the trigger and not what I'm going to do with a spell when the trigger happens.

Detail, he cast a spell, metamagics are apllied when he cast. Metamagic is valid.

Yes.

Your simulacrum assassin is also out to avoid mimiimi.
Only his, his simulacrum and nightmares to ride.
