+1 AC when attacked by something larger than Small.
Do Small creatures get a +2 AC bonus against Large creatures, and a +3 bonus against Huge creatures? Do Medium creatures get an AC bonus if being attacked by something or Large size?

Fun fact: a completely average Strength 10 Loxodon can lift a typical halfling in its trunk. Which should really show you have arbitrary the Strength score is and its only actual use is determining lifting ability. Which is already covered, since Loxodons have Powerful Build.

Never mind, though. I don't want to start another argument about this.

This gets annoying if you are using a grid. You end up having to invent ad-hoc rounding rules? Or are there already standard rounding rules?

It seems jumping distances don't automatically snap to the grid. For example, a long jump is a number of feet equal to your strength score, so on a grid any strength score of 11 -14 still only leaps 2 squares (10 ft). Further, a Thief can add his Dex Mod to jumps, which on a grid is pointless unless they have a 20 dex. (Unless your Str score + Dex Mod bump you to the next multiple of 5, of course).

Well, yeah I need to ask. It doesn’t make any obvious sense to me. Flying creatures can carry prey that weighs pretty close to their own weight. Not being able to fly with armor that is slightly heavier than other armor they can fly with is...not a stretch. At all.

Being able to fly with any armor is a vastly bigger stretch, for reasons unrelated to weight.
Bald Eagles can lift about a fifth of their weight. That stray bit of trivia came up with concerns about them predating small pets years ago (not my concern btw). So, that was unlikely (if you didn't include teacup dogs / puppies / kittens). I don't know about other raptors but I imagine the information is a search away. I look at flying in armor about the same way as swimming in armor. It should have an impact. I'd say overall encumbrance should be the limiting factor, either penalizing, limiting, or prohibiting it. That's my 2 cp. Do I need to say it? Ymmv :D
