D&D 5E In a (hypothetical) Tales from the Yawning Portal 2, what are the adventures you would want updated for 5E?

Legend
To be clear, this is not a news thread on a new Tales from the Yawning Portal coming out. It is not a speculation thread, or even discussion of whether there should be another such book.

But I want you to imagine: WotC announces a new book compiling adventures from older editions, much like the format of the book Tales of the Yawning Portal. When you see this announcement, what are the first adventures you think of, that you would want to see with 5E rules, new maps, updated art, the works?

I think I would pick the Keep on the Borderlands, plus the nearby Caves of Chaos. I've never played it myself, but heard so much about it that I think it may do well with 5E tratement.

What would your choices be?

I'd like D1-3 at the high end, so PCs have something to do after G1-3.

At the low end, hm, I can never get enough Palace of the Silver Princess.

Mid-level, Isle of Dread and Castle Amber.

It would not fit in TFTYP2, but I'd like a 5e version of Ravenloft 2: House on Gryphon Hill that kept to the original tone a bit better than CoS managed. Brooding menace yes, hopeless Grimdark no.

Lord of the Hidden Layer
The original Temple of Elemental Evil (which I have often heard discussed / described but have never seen).
Return to the Keep on the Borderlands, to see how a decade of rules expansions and introducing new ideas influenced the goings-on there.

Some good ideas here that sparked ideas for me.

A few I would like to see updated in a hypothetical book, were it ever to be made:

D 1 - 3 Descent into the Depths/Vault of the Drow
Q1 Queen of the Demonweb Pits
B2 The Keep on the Borderlands
X1 The Isle of Dread
I 1 - 3 Desert of Desolation Series
S4 The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth
WG4 The Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun

Certainly, a bunch of these are my nostalgia talking, but a lot of content there that hits a variety of levels and which link with the existing Yawning Portal book.

I would second (third, fourth?) the call for updated/cleaned up maps for this hypothetical book if it were ever made. That was one of the disappointing aspects of Tales from the Yawning Portal, especially in regards to the Giants modules.

Cheers :)

Fun Adventure that one.

You could plug and play it for 5e with few changes. Goblins, Bugbears, Kobolds, Hobgoblins, Ogres, Owlbears, Berserkers, Gelatanous cubes, Giant Ants etc etc are all easily swapped in.

Steam weevils would just be a Swarm of insects with some fire damage (and fire resistance or immunity) added in.

A 3rd level party would be 5th level (ideally) before hitting the end boss (CR 10).

From memory there are some potions and a ring of fire resistance lying around the dungeon, and a Dragonslayer sword in a secret room that make the task possible at that level.
