Tapatalk constantly dredging up old posts

Not sure if this is the right spot, but my Tapatalk notifications are constantly telling me that there's a new reply in threads from 2012, 2016... and there isn't! Is this purely their algorithm or can you do anything from the enworld side? Today I was told that this post is trending...

I myself haven’t used Tapatalk for years as the current mobile site here is better than Tapatalk.

Cheers! The only reason I ever tried it was when it popped up a lot here, and I've got used to it now. Time to get rid of it again
