Many, many reasons:I've never cared about professional sports (playing or watching friends play is a different issue). I mean, what are you cheering for? The players by and large don't come from your state. If they live in your state, it's probably temporary. That team you thought was awesome 10 years ago? Only people left from that era are the guys that run the show behind the scenes.
In other words, it always just felt like people were cheering for a uniform. So ... yay for that team with the purple and white uniforms I guess?
I get this. After I quit playing baseball at age 19, the last thing I wanted to do was watch any type of ball game. Then about 15 years later, I started incrementally getting back into watching it again.I've never cared about professional sports (playing or watching friends play is a different issue). Or video gamesNo interest in football. I wish the US would spent the money it wastes on professional sports on actually fixing our education and infrastructure instead.
Team? Not for me im a sweet sweet fantasy fan. I love all the players and teams.
