Here I gotta disagree. The lore changes what happens at the table pretty strongly, IME.
The goliath player might notice the compete absence of any mention of goliaths in the giant history, despite the inclusion of trolls, cyclopes and ettins, and harangue the non-hostile giant ghost over it, but it's no more significant than having a character with an artistic background critique the quality of the carvings.

look goliath have the same problem as halflings, poor setting integration.

Yes. But so do Tieflings and Dragonborn (except in Nentir Vale), plus any of a dozen new races.
tieflings are a hybrid strain of humanity hence they fall under humans.
on Dragonborn we agree and I want that fixed properly.
They are integrated as well or as badly as the writer makes them. And either way it doesn't matter - a role player can make just as much out of a lack of representation.
a good well-versed roleplayer can and someone who just picks up the book not so much who should things be built for?

Yep, stick to your narrative. I was just pointing out that when you said "Ghosts of Saltmarsh does not have a SINGLE halfling NPC. If they are common in the area, WHERE ARE THEY?" it's not true. It's a town dominated by humans but halflings are called out as being accepted as normal while other races "The residents react to other visitors, especially tieflings and dragonborn, with a mixture of curiosity and fear."

Someone else did a scan of the PDFs earlier in the thread and showed that halflings are mentioned quite frequently. But I'm sure you won't acknowledge that either since they don't make up the majority of NPCs. Have fun moving the goalposts.
Yeah, ME. I was the one who did the scan of the PDF's earlier.

LOL

If by "frequently" you mean six, then, sure, I guess.
