Dark Alliance isn't reviewing great, but how is it selling? That's what matters for analyzimg future activity from WotC.

I believe it's fallen completely off the best sellers on Steam (I'm not sure, looking at the best sellers on Steam seems to rank a little based on my own preferences).

This calculator assumes the product made about $1.8 million in profit. I guess that's ok? Considering WotC bought Tuque games, it's probably less than they want, but not a complete bust. I mean, they marketed it as AAA so it's probably short of their goals but above failure.

If you build a team that's on the same page and start developing some tools, and turn a profit, that's a start, even if the game is mediocre.

Maybe, but I'm sure considering how much investment WotC seemed to put into it, they're probably not very happy right now. Not shake-the-etch-a-sketch mad, but still annoyed this wasn't a real winner.

Yeah, disappointment would be valid, but if they plan for WotC to become the video game arm of Hasbro, they have to start somewhere.

It's been out for several minutes and I don't see a review yet. I am disappointed.

It's 112 pages long, with 3 main parts: a sourcebook on the Domain of Metrol (40ish pages), an adventure (45 pages) and a few players options (5 pages, part of the domain of metrol larger chapter) and monsters and maps (20 pages).

Interestingly, there are 2 pdf, with a stripped 34-pages "players edition", without spoilers I guess.

How would someone read 112 pages and give a good review in only a couple hours? Much less use the material?
