Pokémon isn't just 'lasting through time', it's THE highest-grossing media franchise in the world. It's almost worth twice as much as Star-Wars and more than 3 MCU.

Transformers is in 11th place, BTW, and is the biggest of this lot by far.
I know, I just find that so funny: I wouldnhave predicted how big Pokémon would be 20 years later when I watched the original program as a kid.

When I was in my early 20s I had to ask some of my older coworkers who had children just what the hell a Pokemon was. A few years back I asked one of my younger coworkers if she had ever known as world without Pokemon and she said no.

I've used both Spycraft and Savage Worlds to run short GI Joe games in the past. Even as a child, I was more a fan of the GI Joe Comics under the helm of Larry Hama than I was the cartoon. The comics just seemed a little more grown up than the cartoon what with people dying and all that. I still think of Quinn from time-to-time and miss him. I also preferred the earlier era of 80s GI Joe toys when they at least made an effort to make a somewhat "realistic" representation of military personnel. By the late 80s early 90s GI Joe kind of went off the rails into a more science fiction direction.

I'll look into this game as I might be interested in playing a few sessions. I might even look into the Transformers as well.

Proud Grognard
Seems to be made for my grognard generation, although I would think it was made for 12 and up because of the settings. I think I was 12 when I was watching all those shows, love them back then.

Gonna pass, although I am sure many people will like this. How about My Little Pony? :)

I am not sure who this is marketed for. Is it for existing RPG players or first time players?
While all of these series have recent TV shows and/or movies, all the art we've seen is from the original incarnations, and the Power Rangers ad copy even refers to the "Zordon era." This makes me think they are leaning heavily on the nostalgia of existing gamers.
