D&D 5E New D&D Survey, with some in-depth setting questions

The question I found most amusing was the one about favorite non-D&D games. The multiple choice portion seemed, as far as I could tell, to be focused on computer RPGs. The free response portion didn't have any specifications about genre, though, so I started debating what Paradox game to put under Civilization on my list. Then I realized there weren't any specifications about medium either. A great chance to show my appreciation of Agricola, I guess, but with anything from Croquet to [whatever first person shooter the kids are playing these days] being a valid answer, I have a hard time seeing what the writers were hoping to get out of this question.

Lol, I literally put Civ 6 and EU4 in that section!

This is about the questions like “what did you make your first character with”. Implying Roll20 or DnDBeyond, regardless if you said your first edition was Moldvay Basic. There were several questions that seemed incongruous like that.
It is not completely incongruous as some people are still introduced to D&D through earlier editions and roll20, from what I have seen, has tools by fans available for creating AD&D 1e and 2e ( Therefore, I assume there are also tools for Moldvay B/X, Mentzer BEMCI).
Still, if the survey was better written, several questions would have a does not apply option. I often just left questions blank and hit the button to move to the question (which worked more often than not).

I nearly didn't even look for "humans" when choosing my favorite races because my brain feels like "humans are default." But once I spotted them they took the place of halflings. I choose gnome and dwarf for my other two choices.
