Ironically, that video appears to be unavailable overseas. I got a brief glimpse of something-something-Braveheart-Mel-Gibson before it turned grey.

I'm with you on all counts. She did seem off. I know, and I'm trying to be careful. I was excited to see her though. There's a high probability she could be the next governor of my state. It was great to see her get that exposure. Ok, no more of that from me.So ... I love the cool cameos that we get. And I truly loved the appearance by Stacey Abrams (that was awesome sauce).
However ... it did have a whiff of the Billions problem. Have you ever watched that show? They had this habit of showing how "real" the show was by having brief cameos by big-time Wall Street honchos, or billionaires, or occasionally athletes. And it was always jarring, because .... they can't act. As soon as you put one of them in a scene with real actors, across from Damian Lewis or Paul Giamatti, it was just so painful that they weren't actors.
Abrams wasn't bad in that sense. Obviously, to be a politician, you have to be a performer. But, IMO, she was also a little ... just a little ... off. Not enough that the cameo wasn't worth it (squee... totally was) but whenever something like that happens, it reminds you just how insanely talented the cast of almost any television show really is.
Substitute Irn Bru then. Far superior beverage.I don't imagine anybody in Scotland has the faintest idea what Mountain Dew is. I only know because of these forums!
I actually looked into it and mountain dew is sold in both the UK and Scotland, but it's made differently since High fructose corn syrup is banned.Substitute Irn Bru then. Far superior beverage.
The UK and Scotland? Do you know something we don't? I mean I know Scottish independence movements are a thing....I actually looked into it and mountain dew is sold in both the UK and Scotland, but it's made differently since High fructose corn syrup is banned.
