Only if they're outside the initial blast radius...
The overpressure wave is travelling slightly faster than the speed of sound, so you'd need to be far enough way to survive the initial blast in order to remain alive long enough to hear it.

Yesterday it was 60 degrees out and sunny.

And yet in the middle of the afternoon there was a five-minute hailstorm, with 5mm chunks coming down like pouring rain. Looking out my windows I could actually see little white spots forming all over my lawn
