D&D 5E New Unearthed Arcana: Wonders of the Multiverse

In today’s Unearthed Arcana, we explore D&D character options from across the multiverse. This playtest document presents the glitchling race; the Fate Domain cleric subclass; and the gate warden, giant foundling, planar philosopher, and rune carver backgrounds. Additionally, a collection of new feats provide links to giants and other primordial forces of the planes, while a selection of new spells highlight the power of fate and chance.

I am beginning to really FREAKING hate the plethora of little PROF times per day features. They all need to be tracked separately instead of a common currency like Superiority Dice, and so many little bonuses that "use now or not" bogs things down and leads to choice paralysis.

This is a bad design direction in my opinion. Having, reasonably powerful feature PROF times per day works well. Having half a dozen minor ones is clutter.
Only works with DnD Beyond.

WotC needs to create a power source that can be used for non-spell things that everyone has. Even something like PF2E focus points, etc, would work well.

I crit!
Speculation thread for this, just to keep this one about the UA itself.

PLANESCAPE CONF.... oh, wait, let's say something more original to cause surprise.

Crossover D&-Transformers confirmed! and Ravager, the panther decepticons, as a displacer beast!

I congratulate the designers because glitchlings and autognome as living construct PC races are't only clones of warforged but they enjoy their own style. Glitchlings aren't modrons. They have humanoid shape and this means they can wear armor and clothing. Do you imagine them as Cogman, the transformers manservant? Or as B.O.B, Ashe's bodyguard (Overwatch)

I miss the mechanatrixes, the planetoucheds from Mechanus. (Fiend Folio 3rd Ed).

Bariaurs are an iconic PC race from Planescape. With a right redesign of the faces they could be sold as toys or some merchandicing product.

Don't you miss the elemental plane of the wood?

The vivacious creatures from 3.5 Planar Handbook could be summoned by arcane spellcasters for their healer effects.

The mephlings deserver a new oportunity in 5e as PC race. The spikers as PC race could need a redesign, because it is not only about wearing heavy armour, but also they can't touch other people in the same way the horny bards like to do. What if their spikes were reversible as cats' claws? Wildrens as PC race was one of the least favorite ones, but with a right redesign they could be right for players who wanted to play with a "kemonomimi"/furry. I would remove the burrow speed, or alter it because if they can create tunnels then they can also destroy stone walls and doors. At least it should be an exhausting physical effort.
