I didn’t realize and certainly don’t remember a discussion about it. Shows even I stoped paying attention to it. Anyway Bart Carrol said that Dragon+ has ended.

I'm familiar with the game, but I'm not into the lore. I'm not really interested in D&D lore either, unless it's something I can use in my home game.Indeed, but in the Venn diagram of those who are engaged with Wizards (and we are) and those who are not, I would bet more of us would at least be familiar with mtg at a superficial level.
While I can 100% understand where you are coming from, I prefer my settings bleak, and Phyrexia brings that to the table in a way nobody else really has.Honestly, my dislike has a hell of a lot more to do with the Phyrexians than it does with the specific victim character. The Phyrexians are one of the most revolting...species? religions? ever to exist in fiction. They have survived repeated efforts to stamp them out, and have been essentially portrayed as fundamentally successful. The openly fascist religion of murder, torture, social Darwinism, racial purity, and mental violation is winning.
I don't mind stories that go dark places. (I play FFXIV for God's sake, I have to be able to accept some Really Friggin Dark story elements.) But the Phyrexians in particular are just about every single thing I loathe, turned up to the max and set loose. Any victory of theirs, even a temporary one, even one that will be totally averted through time travel (which is what I suspect is going to happen), is a thing I would rather not see happen.
Did the furious, flying hamster not catch your eye?Hoping for something gritty and not whimsical or “humorous“
Psionics
Planescape. References to it throughout 5E, obviously, but never full Sigil....so far. Lots of references to the Great Modron March, specifically, have been sprinkled here and there since 2014.What?!?
Other than Spelljammer what have they been teasing for years?!
@Wizards_DnD fans will be surprised by how much we'll reveal at #WizardsPresents. Big announcements, including something we've been teasing for years. Fourteen days and counting! #WOTCstaff
