Legend
I honestly have no idea. I never even saw the other two movies after the first one. This seems like a hint for 6th edition somehow.
But also, does the book from the 3rd D&D movie count as a perfect copy or no?

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. - The Necromancer's MantraA Vecna thread got necroed? Appropriate.
Anyone want to take odds that Vecna is the BBEG of the Phandelver campaign to put the capstone on the Sword Coast Adventure Cycle and 5E next year?
Vecna is already part of the Sword Coast Cycle (which is what I am going to start calling it now), per Rime of the Frost Maiden he is associated with the mysterious Obelisks.Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. - The Necromancer's Mantra
I like this idea. It also would play well with my plan of running Phandelver in Greyhawk. The problem is that Vecna would feel shoehorned into Forgotten Realms. Szass Tam fills the mastermind chess playing lich for FR and would tie in with the movie.
Well that would be very cool. Especially if they can work Szass Tam into it some how. Like a third axis on the antagonists list. Maybe he’s just trying to survive too.Vecna is already part of the Sword Coast Cycle (which is what I am going to start calling it now), per Rime of the Frost Maiden he is associated with the mysterious Obelisks.
The Obelisks always felt like they were leading to something, and Phandelver is supposed to be "cosmic hooror"...Well that would be very cool. Especially if they can work Szass Tam into it some how. Like a third axis on the antagonists list. Maybe he’s just trying to survive too.
