They're available as we speak in case you weren't aware.H*ck I’d buy the 3.0 hardbacks. I never owned them and new pod ones would be great.

I just picked up the Dark Sun boxed set hardcover from drivethrurpg and freaking LOVE it. I always preferred hardcover setting books over box sets and am absolutely thrilled that after all these years I finally have one for 2e Dark Sun in my hands. It even put the introductory flipbook adventure in normal page format, woohoo!I did this with a few boxed sets, namely Planescape and Dark Sun. Also Dragon Kings!
Having all the older editions effectively permanently in print due to those two sites is IMO one of the single greatest things that could have ever happened to this hobby.I wonder, even if they never put out a new book if the DM guild and PoD could WotC still make good money off people buying products?

Ah, you did specify that. My mistake. In a similar vein I wish they had the original 2e corebooks available as well.
That would be cool too. I think Holmes is missing too. Or did it get added?Ah, you did specify that. My mistake. In a similar vein I wish they had the original 2e corebooks available as well.
Unless you send a few allips after it.As good as the 3.0 hardbacks were, the entry for the 3.5e Tarrasque is the most terrifying non-divine monster in all of Dungeons and Dragons. That beast is the PERFECT killing machine.
at least not at the level they are now... but yeah I bet a dozen smaller presses would be able to live off the income of old D*D but I'm sure Hasbro wants it to be more moeny...For some companies, absolutely! For Wizards? Probably not.
