D&D General Linda Codega Interviews Critical Roles Marisha Ray and Matthew Mercer

I hope she asks them some (pardon the cliche phrasing) hard-hitting questions about what's been happening. Something like "do you think that WotC can revoke the OGL v1.0a?" or "would you be willing to publish under a license that allowed for your content to be terminated at the sole discretion of your licensor without prior notice?"
Linda uses they / them pronouns.

Going to be a fascinating interview.

They probably can't legally answer, so I hope —- doesn't.

Linda uses they / them pronouns.

Going to be a fascinating interview.
Can we get these fixed folks?

In the comments too?

Oh god, please no. I hope they altogether avoid asking anything related to the OGL. For one thing, that would be way off topic, given the apparent subject of the interview. For another, Mercer and Ray wouldn't be able to say anything beyond platitudes, given the circumstances. And finally, I just want to enjoy some things that aren't about the OGL. Just give me this. Please!

Mod Note:
I've added a note that Linda Codega uses "they/them" pronouns, and we expect folks here to respect and honor that.

Thank you to those who have edited your posts when that was noted - we appreciate it.

If you see someone use the wrong pronouns, please be polite about correcting them.

Looking forward to seeing this interview. Codega has been doing some solid work since the beginning of this debacle, and I'm hoping that they don't treat their interviewees with kid gloves.

I hope so. They sort of swallowed WotC's lines about the 1.2 without the in-depth ripping apart to uncover the truely insidious stuff, and I think that's been harmful to the pushback.

If they were to announce moving away from D&D (which I doubt), I'd rather them support one of the ones already announced rather than make yet another D&D-like. I know Matt Colville is a friend of Matt Mercer's and is working on his own RPG now; let the Matts team up, maybe with Darrington Press making Critical Role content compatible with the MCDM RPG.

I plan to stick with 5E for the foreseeable future, but if the MCDM RPG turns out to be as 4E-inspired as I think it might end up being then I'd be very curious, at least. Colville's Flee Mortals already looks to be a book about designing 5E-compatible monsters that use 4E style rules and concepts, such as explicit monster combat roles.
