Heh. Was rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer for something to do. Pedro Pascal is in the first episode of season three. Was trippy to see him there.

I rewatched afew 90's things mostly Sci fi related and Highlander TV show.

Alot of very familiar faces turning up in Trek. Stargate, Babylon5, .

Saw that Pedro Pascal being in Buffy a week or two ago.

Confession didn't really get Buffy then or now SIL loves it.

You think Din is the only Mandalorian?
Heh. Shows called The Mandalorian not Din: A Star Wars Story.

Pedro Pascsls hardly in the costume anyway. He is essentially a voice actor in the show.
🙄 C’mon guys. The show's not called The Mandalorians either.

For the first two seasons, Din was the titular Mandalorian, and it seemed like his story arc was leading towards him becoming the one to reunite the Mandalorians and reclaim Mandalore. But now it would appear that Bo-Katan has taken his place as the Mandalorian.

Don't get me wrong -- I like Bo-Katan's story is going. I just feel like it comes at the cost of Din's story, which seems to have stalled. They got his atonement out of the way early this season (and in retrospect it feels like it was primarily a vehicle for Bo-Katan to "get religion" or something) and now he's back in the good graces of his cult (which I'm not sure is a good thing -- I thought he was on a path towards realizing that religious cults don't have healthy lifestyles), and he's just handed over the darksaber to Bo. All he's seemingly got left is teaching Grogu how to be a good little Mandalorian and being Bo-Katan's faithful "bad cop" sidekick.

If it had been up to me, we would have had two seasons of The Mandalorian focusing on Din and Grogu's story.
Then we would have had The Mandalorian: The Book of Boba Fett.
And now we would be watching The Mandalorian: The Book of Bo-Katan.

I never really though the darksaber was for him though. Never really cared if he used it, Bo or someone else. Disney does the fake out alot though in terms of screen time for titular character.

This season they've started crediting his stunt doubles though as apparently they're in the suit more than him.

Katee Is awesome and Pedro can't be bothered? Or they painted themselves into a corner with the no remove helmet thing and Grogu as a Mandalorian?

Yep. What's in a name? This show does seem to like to play around with the actual subject of the definite article. We have had The Apostate: is that Din or Bo-Katan? The Convert: Is that Bo-Katan or Doctor Pershing? The Foundling: is that Grogu or Ragnar?

I feel that Din's story is kind of finished, at least for the time being, and then it's going to turn into Grogu's story.

I'm getting over grogu and kinda liking Bo more. Oops.
Grogu's to young to do much with and the baby/toddler act is getting old.

I find it amusing that some characters call him "Mando" like that's his name! It's a bit like calling somebody "Scotty" because they come from Scotland.

Yeah, I'm kind of thinking 50 year time jump later.

Although he did get stuff to do in the last episode.

Legends tinejumped 127 years later gave us a likeable Skywaljer;).

The helmet thing with Din though probably has kinda ruined him. It's easier to relate to Bo perhaps.

And they may not be able to write their way around it if Pedro is unable or unwilling to be on set on a full time schedule.

Hell Sasha Banks could become more prominent. She can do her own stunts and damn near break herself to make it look good. She's probably busy in Japan.
