The whole point varied from movie to movie. Who knows where they'll land with it.I am a little confused about starting a new Jedi order. I thought the whole point was to break the wheel around the force?

Judging from the previous trilogy, from what I can tell the point was to break it, but never break it, and also PalpatineI am a little confused about starting a new Jedi order. I thought the whole point was to break the wheel around the force?
So far they haven't announced a trilogy, they've announced three unconnected movies. But yes, hopefully they will keep the potential for sequels in mind, and try to be coherent about it if and when they make any.Judging from the previous trilogy, from what I can tell the point was to break it, but never break it, and also Palpatine
Really what they need if they are going to do this is have a clear vision through the whole trilogy and have each movie serve a clear function in a three part story

There wasnt an episode IX?I think it's weird that they're not doing an Episode IX and just skipping forward to this de facto Episode X, but I think the sequel era has the most potential of the Star Wars franchise and am excited for Daisy Ridley's new film.
A film connecting to Book of Boba Fett doesn't seem like the exciting premise Lucasfilm thinks it is.
I feel like I would have remembered it.There wasnt an episode IX?
The Rise of GroguOne is a Filoni-led film that will wrap up the Mando/Boba/Ahsoka series.
I thought it was good and it didn't really stand out, in terms of direction style, from the rest of season 1. An I think that's the point. In a series you are far more constrained in what you can do, with limited creative control and set boundaries, than you likely would be in a feature film. you can pretty much see Waititi clearly in his films. Disney would obviously hold his reigns, but to what degree? Hold them too tightly and you aren't going to get what you're paying him for. Too loosely and you get another "Love and Thunder."What did you both think of the Mandalorian season 1 finale? I ask because Taika directed that episode. I’m pretty sure the success of that episode was one of the reasons he is getting his own movie.
Hold 'em just right, and you'd get another Ragnarok.Too loosely and you get another "Love and Thunder."
