I found it fun. These shows are supposed to be fun, right?

Yea, they are, or at least everything not Andor is supposed to be fun. People thinking The Mandalorian is supposed to be all serious and grim because he is a bounty hunter are just fooling themselves, or totally missed the cute Baby Yoda puppet that has been part of the show since the first episode. People need to keep their stupid grimdark out of my Star Wars.

Yeah, pretty much feels like the Disney version of "Lone Wolf and Cub." Because it's the Disney version of "Lone Wolf and Cub."

Hehe, it's so funny how out of touch with pop culture I am. Sasha Banks? Had to google her. Then had to google who she was in Mandalorean. Then had to google a bit more to remember seeing her at all in the show. Had zero idea who she was.

I really liked the fact that we got to see a Star Wars planet that wasn't a festering hell hole. This IS supposed to be a high tech society - or rather a whole collection of high technology societies. Yet, other than what, Naboo maybe? every planet we see in Star Wars is either a hive of scum and villainy or an Orwellian dystopia.

You mean there's actually places in the Star Wars universe that people would honestly want to live in? Fantastic. Oh, and look, not every scene is underlit and squintingly dark. People actually have access to sufficient light. So what if the leaders are a couple of famous actors? Ok. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

It was kinda amusing to think that maybe you don't actually have to live in some primitive backwater world, a monarchy, or a cityworld, and be either locked into eternal wars or pirate raids.
But I guess the price of being ruled by Jack Black and Lizzo (who I never conciously heard of before, to be honest) is too high to pay, so most people prefer hard labor in mines or factories, and the occassional pirate raid.

So, I don't understand where this show is going. It was never exactly deep, but seasons 1-2 had a clear arc and a super awesome finale. This season feels like it undid all of that, and now it is meandering.

I know some folks found Andor boring, and I think that is crazy, but to each their own. But however you felt about it, you have to admit that show had tight writing - every scene and every character served a purpose. Mandalorian now just feels like stuff happening and I'm not sure why any of it really matters. It may have a lot more action than Andor, but I just can't get invested in it.

Yup I seem to like this season more than the internet. BUT it is meandering and not as good as season 2. Ratings are apparently down as well. Criticism s going mainstream as well vs bitching and moaning on the net.

I'm assuming they're building towards something so I didn't mind the meandering to much and I'm a sucker for world-building.

They might whiff the conclusion though. Also agree with sentiments expressed earlier about Bo Katan is more interesting than Din. That could be a problem for lots of others though.
