Apropos of nothing anywhere...

A friend just shared the trailer for Sisu with me. Not usually my kind of film in terms of gore ... but now I'm really hoping it has wide enough distribution at the end of the month to get to us.

(If forced to be en-relevant I might say I'm kind of scared to ask if there is a ttRPG that does that; or could say its an example of having bad guys that are ok to take out; or ponder an ultra-violent star wars movie about an ex-jedi who survived 66 and wasn't in the mood for whatever modern expletive was being thrust on him).

That definitely looks like something I'd watch.

Nah. The Hut's menu has always been weak.

And that's why everyone is so nostalgic for the '80s.

No. Pineapple. Toppings.
Tried to find a menu for one of our big Canadian chains from the '80s, but doesn't appear to be out there. In addition to pineapple it also included sunflower seeds and slivered almonds. I'll provide this, instead.

Minor quibble: While it's true that Marcellus Edson filed the first patent for a peanut-butter-making machine, and he was from Montreal, Quebec, the Aztecs and Incas (and probably others) had been making peanut butter from roasted peanuts for centuries prior to European contact.

2 observations:

I made Nanaimo bars the other day and I contend they are better with milk chocolate instead of bittersweet and the substitution of vanilla pudding mix over custard powder.

If you would like a chuckle look up why canola oil is called canola oil.
