Mando season 3

They ran away to draw the Mandalorians into a trap.
Doesn't really change that they were getting their rears handed to them. Without that "trap" they would have all been killed. Opening that door would have been suicide for the imperials and Bo could have gotten them out and/or in a position to kill imperials and save Din.

Looked like a flex on Gideon's part, to me. He wanted to demonstrate his new toys. When he was done playing with his food he left, and brought in the Imperial Guard to finish up with the one troublesome Mandalorian.
Think the guard could have taken all of the mandalorians out? Especially with Bo and the saber? One guy pretty much killed all the regulars.

I think that the other Mandalorians were being minimally successful and the guy with the big gun was the only real threat. They took him out rather easily. Given the way that it played out I'd say that there were more regs on hand than we saw. Gideon held the Imperial Guard in reserve, apparently for demonstration purposes and, like I said, he was displaying his new toys. He has an ego, but clearly isn't stupid. This was planned.

Suppress what? To the imperials it is a hard hole to shoot through. They are at range. Hang back where? Out in the open because there wasn't cover? Use what launchers? The mandalorians are going to sit there after the imperials ask "Would you please hold on a minute? We have to run back to the ship and get some launchers to kill you with." And if they could do the last one, the mandos never would have made it out.

And you're still forgetting the armed and free Din that was out there. They wouldn't have had time to capture him had she cut a hole.
Or, they simply would have shot him in the head and killed him instantly. Cutting through the front glass would have been a death sentences for Din.

So shoot him in the head. That's what the beskar is for. Remember, this would have happened well before they grabbed him and took his stuff off. He fought for a bit. MUCH longer that it would have taken for her to cut 3 or 4 holes in the glass for them to shoot or throw grenades through.

Good call. Think I'll add the droid to my suspects line up.

1. Handsome British Guy.
2. Armorer
3. Droid.
4. WWE Sasha Banks.
5. Grogu (just in case JJ Abrams gets involved).

Gonna errata thus for my final guess.

5. Grogu (Just in case Rian Johnson gers involved).

6. There is no spy. Just in case JJ Abrams is involved).

It's pretty much 1 or 2 no one else involved has had enough screening at least amoung the Mandalorians. Any other Mando care factor 0. Eg if it's the Mando survivors they were only introduced this episode.

Might be non Mandalorian eg ruler of Navarro but that's either care factor 0 or stupid.

Umm, you realize that as soon as she starts to cut holes in the front, they just open the door and shoot them all dead, right. They're pinned in a tiny room with only one exit and no cover. Since it was the Imperials that closed the door, you do understand that they can reopen it right?
