Mando season 3

As a DM, I'd probably say that beskar impaired the use of the Force, just to avoid powergamers using it for their Force-wielding characters.

In d20 all it did was allow damage reduction to apply to lightsabers. So you basically needed to be an elite trooper to have damage reduction or put it on vehicles.

In legends they did build beskar Star Vipers iirc.

Paz Vizla Soldier 7/Elite Trooper 10,). Probably no higher than lvl 12 tbh but whatever.

Unforch we have a now-canon Mandalorian Jedi who used to prat about in full Mando-armour waving the Darksaber around (Tarre Vizsla).

I guess they could still retcon his armour to not being beskar though.

And people thought Mandalorian Knights in Legends was a bad idea.

Right near the end of Legends they did have some free sensitive Mandalorians but they assimilated into their culture vs waving lightsabers around

Did everyone use beskar armor? Unless it offered the equivalent of disadvantage for Force-wielders, players not using beskar armor would be making a suboptimal choice.

Not really it was to rare and expensive. Everyone wanted Mandalorian armor of you went down that path. Adding bskar wasn't that great mechanics wise.

Armor wasn't that good unless you built around it.

So the ultimate Darth Munchkin would have been a force sensitive Mandalorian joining the Jensaari. Get hold of Mandalorian armor (upgrade slots) infuse it with the force (Jensaari talent) then join the Sith and use Sith alchemy on it while being trained in lightsabers. And get a tech specialist to work on it as well.

Jensaari elite trooper could work as just get evasion.

My wife did have something very similar to Paz Vizla. She built a heavy weapon warrior type, heavy repeater hooked up to her armor.

I never made getting Mandalorian armor easy to get though. And they didn't get to level 16/17 as elite trooper to make DR relevant.

They really should have kept Grogu out of the Book of Boba Fett and saved his return for the start of season 3. I think the time jump wouldn't seem so weird that way.

Yup did both how's no favors.

Also kinda forget S2 was 2020 it's now 2023.

Anyway kinda excited for tonight's episode last week's episode and Ahsoka trailer.

Din doesn't even have plot armor this episode. If he bites the big one Bo is his replacement.

I'm sure the internet will be upset but it's not clear if Pedro Pascal has even been on set. Throat wound and recast!!.

@pukunui yellow lightsabers looking good 3:34 mark. 30 seconds roughly.

Agreed. Grogu saving Din from the raging rancor was cute and all but we'd already seen him do that with the mudhorn.

Yeah, I'm still cautiously optimistic that they'll be able to end this uneven season in a satisfying way. If not, August is only four months away.

This whole season has been about the transition from Din to Bo, most notably in the last two episodes ... where we saw Din accompany Bo-Katan on her quest (and on her starship) to reclaim her fleet and followers, during which he handed the darksaber over to her. On their return to Nevarro, we then saw Grogu sitting in Bo's lap. And then, to top it off, Din pledged himself to Bo's service. He is no longer the Mandalorian.

Unless Gideon forces him to take off his helmet in the "debriefing room", it's entirely possible Pedro wasn't on set at all. That's probably why they credited his body doubles this season.
