Well, the first weekend was 10 million copies at $70. We don't know the full Quarterly sales yet, but it's probably on the way to 30 million or more copies lifetime. How much money did Tears of the Kingdom make?

who says they didn’t, we had the same thing with the Witcher 3, if not moreso![]()
BG3 is still rising.
An interesting take on the BG3 is an anamoly controversy. Why didn't the Witcher 3, Mass Effect, etc... get this effect when they came out?
I refuse to watch dumb clickbait, who is the "they" who "fear" BG3...?why says they didn’t, we had the same thing with the Witcher 3, if not moreso
every other RPG game dev, for its awesomeness (effort put into it, using a specialized engine made for this type of game… so effort, because the other half is pretty much always true…), only saw the first 30 secs or so thoughI refuse to watch dumb clickbait, who is the "they" who "fear" BG3...?
Well, yeah, Witcher is an open world action adventure game. If BG3 sells a fifth of what Witcher 3 did, it will handily displace Final Fantasy and Mass Effect for best in class for the genre.every other RPG game dev, for its awesomeness (effort put into it, using a specialized engine made for this type of game… so effort, because the other half is pretty much always true…), only saw the first 30 secs or so though
I take this as ‘game that is being hyped’, and for that I certainly saw more W3 than BG3 hype
Based on the VoD numbers, HAT has probavly turned the corner, but yeah BG3 is undoubtedly the bigger money maker.Baldur's Gate 3 is already profitable and Honor Among Thieves may never be profitable, so the answer is BG3.

How many views Honor of Thieves was getting on pay per view services, seperate from DVD or Streaming. It has done very well, enough to bridge the box office gsp based on similar movies. It will make money when all is said and done. But a minority successful movie is nowhere near successful video games in revenue potential. Games started getting bigger than movies in the 90's.What the VoD numbers?
You have the actual numbers on VoD and DVD sales, just curious?Based on the VoD numbers, HAT has probavly turned the corner, but yeah BG3 is undoubtedly the bigger money maker.
