To this day, and given all the technology and need for content, I don't understand why Roger Zelazny's books have not seen a major adaptation.

You would think that, if nothing else, the Amber series would make for a great prestige show.

Those might be best served by a European style of film, rather than Hollywood.

I think that Amber might be too dense for a movie. I've been wrong before, and it would depend on the adaptation, but a well-done limited series would be ideal (IMO).
