D&D General BG3 Massive Spoiler Thread

So, I've run into a bit of a bug and it's annoying me. I finally have Halsin on the team and we're vibing. But after a fight with the Eagles atop the monastery, Halsin will not follow the group. If I choose him as party lead, the other PCs will follow him (also he doesn't speak, generally you get an acknowledgement when you select a party member), but if anyone else leads, the other two will follow and Halsin stays where he is. I've tried kicking him out of the party and then getting him to rejoin, but that hasn't fixed the problem. I'm not sure if other companions have the same problem, but we'll see.

Anyway, plot wise, I'm just clearing up stuff before Moonrise tower. So I'm going back for Auntie Ethel, the Githyanki Creche and the book in the basement. Oh, and gotta help the Shadar Kai with his ledger.

Seriously: how do.you take out the goblin witch without alerting the whole place? I can't take 40 goblins at a time.
Talk to her, and you can get a choice to talk to her privately in her quarters. Meet her there, talk to her again to initiate combat, and focus fire on her to bring her down before she calls her guards. I did it successfully after just two tries, and it doesn't alert anyone else in the complex.

I finally got Gut (using silence) and freed Halsin. Now I have to murder the hobgoblin and find the drow who I have not seen yet. The whole party is 4th level now, too, so that should help.

It's not gamey at all. The duergar ask you to use smokepowder to remove the blockage.
It might trigger the situation to fail if you go that far though. There is a way to get smokepowder without leaving the Underdark - though in my case I just had some on person, literally a barrel in Lae'zel's backpack.
