I do not own BG3, nor have any immediate plans to buy it. But I just "watched" a Twitch live play of it in another tab, so I could get the characters I will probably never play a special outfit.

I genuinely wonder if some people are paid to defend a company or its products sometimes, given how fervently (and sometimes delusionally) they seem to write stuff.

In other news, some people I should've put in my ignore list long ago. I knew I found them to be a wangrod, I never liked interacting with them, but wanted to be charitable. Turns out, I'm better off ignoring them.

A true fan must not just love unconditionally, but also hate without reservation. Every day the true fan's attention will turn, like the shine on a school of fish, all at once, to a new subject to hate. Sometimes the ire will be directed at the latest release of a movie about a character from the wrong comic book universe, but other times the hate will be directed at someone who has made a heinous substitution in guacamole.
