D&D General Baldur's Gate 3 will now be releasing August 3rd on PC and September 6th on PS5, increased level cap, race & class details and more

So apparently after like 3 serious chats (im still in act 1) the Cleric is ready to go to pound town.

BG1-2 you had play like 75% of the game to even get that far.

The devs have said they intentionally set different benchmarks for each character. Some decide to sleep with you quickly, others wait a while, some care about it, and others don't see it as anything meaningful. Which IS an improvement over the old Bioware standard of "Agree with everything you say until the last mission of the game", but makes them seem ultra thirsty in exchange. :D

If only it was that easy with Viconia in BG2

Anyone else multiclass Shadowheart as a monk?

Oh btw there is a mod that unlocks Minsc, Jaheira, Minthara, Halsin, Lorsiir, and Alfira as Origin Characters, apparently they were originally planned to be origin characters, but it didn't pan out.

That's not correct. If you read the whole of the thread about the mod you'll see it's explained - EVERYONE who can join the party, including the generic hirelings, is set up as an "origin character" in the code. It's not that any of those people was actually planned or in any way implemented as an origin character, so it's completely wrong to say they "didn't pan out" - they were never intended to be origin characters, it's just quirk of how the game is set up internally. Plus the game it breaks the game to play as some of those characters lol.

Didn't know that. Is Alfira one of those characters that break the game?
