D&D (2024) Poll on DDB about additional material for sale

I've just received an email for a poll on DDB. I found it interesting.

I was asked about new material to release apart from the books (presumably it would all be digital). They asked about stuff like sound effects, art, how-to guides, new rules, new monsters, lore drops, short adventures, short fiction, playtest material and others.

I also got some questions asking how I felt about purchasing some of that material (presumably stuff that I indicated that I preferred) in packages costing $15 and how often I might be interested in them.

Interesting. I got asked how likely I would be to ‘purchase’ various options if they cost $0. I wonder if that was a glitch or if they really were suggesting they’d release some content for free.

That's a bit weird. I'm assuming it was a glitch, I mean why would you refuse free material?

It was definitely $0 for me.

I just started taking the survey again on a different device, and this time it was $12.

I wonder if it’s a random price (perhaps within a certain range) each time.

Yeah, sounds like they might be tossing out different numbers to try to identify a "sweet spot" price.
