The part I like the most in British cuisine is that the time it takes to boil every aliment down to a tasteless grey thing is always enough for a couple of pints in the meantime! Its magic!

I feel the cuisine of the green and pleasant Motherland is being unfairly criticised.
In fact we have many dishes that are only a bit bland!

Hey, to be fair, I understand. Our weather isnt better than yours (though it falls in solid form instead of rain), so lacking access to fresh produce ripened in the fields is killer for great food.

Try to make a great dish in winter with cardboard tomatoes that comes from 3 countries away (and our countries are biiiiiiiiiiiiig)!

I like it when our government does advertising telling us to eat local. Yeah, good luck with that in January! I cant wait for a stew of roots boiled in melted snow!

Live Through This is as good as anything Nirvana put out.

I wouldn’t even go that far, TBH. I’ve often said that most major bands have released something I wouldn’t mind listening to or might even enjoy.

Hole never did.

Oof. I have to strongly disagree with that statement.

Live Through This is a stone-cold classic album. One of the best 90s grunge albums, period.
Pretty on the Inside is excellent, albeit raw and abrasive.
Celebrity Skin is good, with a strong Corgan influence and some underrated gems (Northern Star, by Eric Erlandson, is an underrated, and haunting, song).

There's a fourth album, but that's for completists only. Still, 3 good to great albums is not shabby.

To be 100% clear, my dislike of Hole has nothing to do with Courtney’s personal life, and everything to do with me not liking ANY of the band’s music.
