If you need to differentiate between "other people" and "those people" to make your point, your point is probably garbage.
Where I come from, the term is either "y'all" (a specific person or group of people, usually those within earshot) and "all y'all" (a broad term referring to a non-specific person or group of people who are not present.) There's also the less-common "sum y'all," which is a way of talking about someone present without naming names.The preferred nomenclature is "you people."
