I own more than 5k CDs, plus LPs, 45s and cassettes. (Got rid of the reel to reel a while ago.)
So I’m pretty close to liking all types of music. But I don’t like all sub-genres, and definitely have preferences as to particular artists.
My least liked major genres are opera & C&W. But even within those, there’s stuff I enjoy, and artists I at least respect.
Unless, of course, they don't want to get into that conversation with you.On the other hand, have you ever asked someone about the music they liked, and they just kind of smile and say, "Oh, I like all kinds of music!"
David Benioff and DB Weis, the Game of Throne showrunners. I've seen them referred to in articles as D&D.OK, I’m lost.
You laugh, but a company called Keto Chow had an ad on Youtube featuring a witch complaining about how hard it was to find delicious food that was keto. When two children enter her home she turns to the camera and reassures us, "Don't worry, they're free range."Seems like you're on to a great new book ...

Whenever someone asks me about my favorite song, or my favorite kind of music, I always start my answer with "Well today, my favorite is..." because my tastes change constantly and I'm all over the map. That's the thing though. You can talk about different kinds of music, and your preferences within different types of music (and subgenres within music).
If someone asks you about the music you like, you will likely start a long and passionate conversation. Because you actually like music.

....yeah, you know what I'm talking 'bout.
Amusingly, I’ve never met someone like that. At least, nobody has ever said that to me.That's the thing though. You can talk about different kinds of music, and your preferences within different types of music (and subgenres within music).

AH! No experience with any of that, hence, my confusion.David Benioff and DB Weis, the Game of Throne showrunners. I've seen them referred to in articles as D&D.
That’s one of my favorite songs by them.Yesterday it was "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Peter Paul & Mary because that was the lullaby that my mom sang to me as a kid, and I was really homesick.
At my wedding, I danced with my mom to this song. Seemed appropriate, since it's been my unofficial theme song for my whole life. That’s one of my favorite songs by them.![]()
