In the case of "Andromeda" the line of demarcation is starkly at the point where Sorbo obtained more creative control. Mush the same formula as with why "Buck Rogers" season 2 sucked.

No idea what happened with "Earth:Final Conflict" but from season 3, onward, it was a dumpster fire.

More specificially, he obtained creative control at the expense of losing Robert Hewitt Wolfe. I don't know there is any plausible scenario where Sorbo keeps the level of creative control and Wolfe stay as writer, but I think losing him hurt the most here, simply because he was the one with the big picture and sufficient talent to deliver.

Definitely agree. I'd say that Sorbo went of the rails, but I think he pawned the rails to buy mirrors.

It isn't "superhero fatigue" it is "MCU fatigue" -- that is, superhero movies that all feel the same. Some tone, same tropes, same beats. This extends beyond the MCU: the MCU-like DC movies have also exhausted folks.

Make good movies with super heroes in them. Do interesting things. Take chances. Both Loki S1 and Moon Knight S1 showed you can still tell interesting stories in the MCU. The Boys and GenV show that there are options beyond jokey PG drek.

And maybe it is time for the superheroes to be born in the cinema or on television again.

Could also be Disney fatigue looks like Wish is gonna bomb.

They've had 1 hit movie thus year, 2 that probably broke even/underperformed and the rest are flops/bombs.

Star Treks more meh than yay. Most of them have very rough season 1&2 and TNG hasn't aged that well.

DS9 is the most consistent/best one SNW is the exception so far.
