You know how much time was wasted over quite literally nothing, all because of social media?

Thats the world we have now.

Not just our forum time, because thats honestly part of the point for many of us here (to waste time), but the faux outrage, the witchhunting, the artist being actually bothered, now wizards confirming that they also followed up with the artist, and now the youtuber deleting, and apologizing, while others on social media deny the answer, and continue to believe whatever they want to believe because facts and reality no longer matter?

Indestructoboy is actually a really good designer and could go on to design for WotC, Paizo or even a video game developer if things like this didn't keep happening. He just needs to use more judgement and discretion with how he conducts himself and possibly look into those anger issues which seem to be driving a lot of his missteps. Hopefully, this apology video is a start of that process since I am sure a lot of folks who might be interested in hiring him wouldn't because he is too much of a loose cannon.

What's great about this is that this gave me a list of toxic community members to block online. I had blocked the twitter user before all this and I remember now why.

Even after WotC posted their findings, some twitter user came on and said that they don't trust WotC, but understand they have to be careful... then goes on to say that they don't know if WotC is telling the truth or not, but it's the holidays so let's not focus on this!

Terrible font, crooked lettering, "shocked" face, rhetorical questions...yep, it's got all the typical markers of clickbait. All it needs is a giant arrow pointing at something unrelated and it will be the Total Package.

According to BlockTube, I blocked that channel ages ago.

Role for Comabt, Professor Dungeon Master, and Discourse Minis are a few of the channels I actively avoid. What sucks is Professor Dungeon Master use to be good, he had great advice and I generally liked his videos. Lately though it seems he has slipped into the click bait content.

Sadly, it's only partially their fault. If anyone wants to make money on YouTube, the algorithm must be obeyed. And until YouTube changes the way their algorithm rewards the people making videos, the quality of their platform can only spiral downward.
