Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Pineapple on Pizza goes back to at least 57 in the US and 55 in Germany. Let's get that blame as far away from Gen X as possible!

We should be thanking boomers for inventing it and sam Panopoulos be canonized. The sweet tartness of the pineapple elevates the pizza. Yes it can be overwhelming. To fill up on too much pineapple pizza would be ill-advised. But there is nothing wrong or unnatural in enjoying a slice or two, perhaps even an entire small Pineapple Pizza to oneself if you are sufficiently hungry and in need of electrolytes. Posters, don't let them shame you into denying your love of pineapple pizza!

Fact is, there's nothing wrong with liking pineapples on pizza, so long as you don't try to force the topping on people who don't like it. Fact is, there's nothing wrong with not liking pineapples on pizza, so long as you don't try to shame the people who like it. Me, I like pineapples on pizza, have for decades, and the next time I try to force someone to try it will be the first.

This is the first time I've seen the word "cromulent". It seems to be close to the Swedish word "lagom".

This is what Chat GPT had to say on the subject:

While "lagom" and "cromulent" may seem similar in suggesting adequacy or appropriateness, "lagom" is a real word deeply rooted in Swedish culture emphasizing balance, whereas "cromulent" is a playful, made-up word from "The Simpsons" used to humorously suggest something is acceptable.

I know this is arguing with AI, but...

"Real word"? "Made-up word"? Newsflash: all words are made up. And cromulent has been in use for longer than hashtag, photobomb, bucket list, or bingeable.

And now I hate the fact that stuff like this is what pulls me back in every time I think I'm out.
