Interesting. Renaming some of the northern regions, I see. Reasonable, too.

Blackmoor named to Arn! Awww, nice touch!
Not actully renaming them for the most part. Just using the actual names.

And … Aerdiaak? I thought I was fairly well read in Ivid, but is there lore associating that name to North Province/Kingdom?
Dunno about calling it "Aerdiaak," nothing in Google for that, but after the Great Kingdom collapsed, isn't appears North Province became known as Aerdy...but look, there is the Great Kingdom still there.

But these each three got “North …” appended to their name, and likely the reason North Province got renamed to Aerdiaak.
Right, and it's probavly a quick shorthand to help new DMs remember those are the Viking lands.

Also, the Scarlet Brotherhood region is titled "Shar" now.

Really curious to see the write-up, but it really looks like it might be about as detailed as the original Folio.

New map labels are good for the most part. Aerdi(ACK) aside. The addition of classic adventure locations can only help promote the setting as well.
I am very interested to know what is up with those in the text, if anything.

I will note that we are getting 5 sample Advebtures, with 15 maps between them. There are 6 dungeons named on this map, including one thst is in Quests from the Infinite Stiarcase (Tsojcanth). It is possible that the sample Advebtures may or may not relate to:

  • Castle Greyhawk (near the Free City getting a poster map)
  • The Temple of Elemental Evil
  • The Ghost Tower of Iverness
  • Maure Castle
  • The Tomb of Horrors
