Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Lots happened. we had important character development for Mae, Qimir and others, the information that Kelnacca had become obsessed with the witches, and the suggestion that Osha was on a dark side trajectory. And we had wilderness exploration: do we cut out all the wilderness exploration from a D&D game because "nothing happens for 40 minutes"?

Sometimes, I think that the overlap between Stars Wars fans and people who can detect subtlety is tiny.

E2 ended with wookie, E4 started with cookie.

E3 could have screened after 4 and not really changed things.

Apart from the symbols Kelnacca had been carving everywhere would not have made sense. Nor would Mae and Osha's relationship, and why Mae might consider ending her revenge quest once she knew Osha was alive.

Episode 3 also added a couple of extra suspects to the list of potential Dark Helmet candidates. Not much point in adding red herrings after they have been ruled out.

I continue to be really interested in this series. I love the noir aspects and the mystery aspects. I find that each episode reveals more and more of the plot, like a delicious onion!!!

I don't think that Qmri(sp) is the "Sith". Mainly because its been so telegraphed, not telegraphed. It is so obvious that it is him, that I will be surprised if it is him. I don't think that the "Sith" has to be anyone we have seen on screen. In fact I no think that it is likely that it isn't.

I am really afraid that Sol is going to be a "not good guy". Its not strong fear mainly because this show has done a good job of showing that its just a mess. The Jedi were not acting their best selves.

I have been wondering something though. What is the platform they are talking about? There is a scene in like ep2 or 3 where Mother Koril briefly goes and sees it because it made a noise. I think this platform thing is going to be a big deal. And the silly person in me wants to say that the Jedi infringed on their first amendment rights (ie cut off their platform). (insert drum rim shot) "Don't forget to tip Enworld servers!"

I think the 'dark one' had a decidedly female silhouette.
Yes. Here is what I think is going on: Upon being told that Mae was going to hand herself in, Sith Master Qimir contacts apprentice/fake Sith Indara by comlink and orders her to get her butt over to Kelnacca's place, silence him and prevent Mae falling into jedi hands.

Yup. I cut out "nothing happens for 40 minutes" every single time.

Look, I get that you like it. And it's not like I'm hating the series. Just THIS episode. I thought I had made that clear, but, I figured I should repeat it. 40 minutes of people strolling through a forest where nothing happens is not exactly compelling TV. We have a great set-up from Ep-3 where the Wookie Jedi scares the crap out of the two guys. He's not set up as a push over. Yet, he dies like a complete chump. Worse, there's absolutely no evidence that there was even a fight. He's just got a big smoking hole in his chest.

I mean, even the most naive Jedi would see that as a set up. What, Mae just walks in, stabs him with a lightsaber that she doesn't actually have?

If the baddy is that bad, that he can walk up to a Jedi master and just carve him like a turkey without the Jedi so much as knocking over a table, this better be a really short fight.

Live action Star Wars show that would be popular with the fanbase: two white males hitting each other with lightsabres for 10 hours.
That's incredibly insulting.
