Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I'd guess it doesn't matter to ninety percent of viewers..... Most of us want cool things...

Yup. Hence why we get lots of lightsabers. Can nitpick the force I suppose but I can see why Disney does it as it's a major thing in I-IX.

I'm not sure. Either way it's within what the force coukd probably do without being to over the top.
The lore around kyber crystals reminds me of Potterverse wands. "The wand chooses the wizard" and all that. Harry even comments on how Olivander talks about wands as if they are alive and can think.

Not a Harry Potter Fan can't stand the author.

First heard about it 1998 iirc. Watched 1 movie under duress;)

Fair enough. I resisted reading the books / watching the movies until my children wanted to read and watch them. Then I had no choice. I only brought it up because two of my children are watching the last movie right now, and at the start, Harry has a conversation with Olivander about wands.

Solution is obvious. Don't have kids;)
Probably an age thing. Harry Potter late 90s kinda aimed at kids I suppose when ones into industrial metal. Missed the boat. Not angry enough.

You are 18 years too late with that suggestion. :p

I'm roughly the same age as Harry, Hermione, and the others would be if they were real people. (I was born in 1981. I think they're meant to have been born in 1980 or so.)

Yeah the actors are getting older.

Youtube spat out an Avril Lavigne 2024 concert. She's roughly same age as my wife.

Well, the actors are all nearly a decade younger than me. Daniel Radcliffe was born in 1989. But their characters are my age and generation: elder millennials.

When the first movie was made, the three main child actors and their characters were the same age or only a year different. Daniel and Rupert were 11 and Emma was only 10. She was actually not old enough to get into Hogwart's at the time, if it were real, as the age for a 1st year was minimum of 11.
