D&D General Bob World Builder Recreates WOTC's "Do You Like Me?" Survey!

and what makes the community better? Just always praising WotC does not, at least in my book.

Some people like what they do, others not so much, the community is too large to be unified, nothing you can do about it, including complaining about the fact here
I’ve never praised Wotc. I don’t feel we even need them anymore.

That is how they balance their books. They fire the useful people because the C-suite contracts all have "you can't fire me" clauses".
What you feel guilty about is between you and the universe.
The point is I don't. I am not giving WotC money because they treated the Open Gaming community like garbage. I don't feel bad about that, no matter how many people they lay off. That isn't on me -- which is what YOU intimated.

I don’t even know what we’re talking about anymore. I don’t put much thought into things I don’t plan on buying like so many others do.

I assume it is the other way around, you put thought in before and arrive at the conclusion not to buy, at least that is how I would do it

I disagree that WotC has direct interaction with me. Me specifically. My only interaction with Wizards of the Coast is that they are the company that produces the object I am going to buy. I'm not a 3rd party so anything they've done to 3rd parties doesn't affect me at all. And I have not experienced anything against me as a customer because everything I have spent money on I have received, with the transaction completed.
Weird. I have direct interaction with them all the time. Every time I go onto D&D Beyond I interact with WotC. I've been to conventions where WotC has been present and interacted with me. I've gone to their website which is direct interaction with the company. I've watched videos directed at me and all of the other players. And on and on.

It seems strange to me that you've been able to avoid interacting with the company in some way.
What you seem to be doing (to me) is being upset on behalf of other people. They got "bad service" and so you don't want to get WotC's product on their behalf.
No. I, me, myself, got bad service. I, myself, me, watched friends get betrayed by the company. I, myself, me have been lied to repeatedly by the company. I would never dream of being offended on someone else's behalf.
And if I give some company or service X amount of dollars for that thing... then the transaction is over. Anything else outside of that is meaningless in my opinion.
So you don't care if your shoes were made by child labor in a sweat shop in another country? All that matters is the quality of the shoes and giving X dollars for it in a transaction?
