Just going to point out that Slasher + Whip = slow 20' at reach.

Barbarian using Hamstring Blow with Brutal Strike to slow by another 15', for -35' speed reduction.

Only sad thing is that you can't use it with the World Tree's reach-extending feature for a 20' reach. (The weapon has to be heavy or versatile in the final rules.)

Interesting that the whip is the only slashing weapon that has the Slow mastery.

Edit: Dammit. Dual-wield whip + (trident or battleaxe) to knock them over and leave them with a 0 speed, so they can't stand up the next turn.

I feel it's more of a rogue thing. They don't mind finess d4 weapons, and can add trip.

Does repelling blast work on True Stike?

You can do that with grappling and knocking foes prone, too.

Wield two one-handed weapons. Attack once with each weapon. One of the weapons has the Topple mastery, to knock prone. The other has the stacked speed reduction, leaving them with 0 speed. With no speed, they can't stand up.

Yes, grappling would work too, but you have to stay on top of them for that to work. With the two-weapon combo, you can just walk away.

That's probably a better choice, yeah.

Can someone find for me (and quote the relevant bits) where it says that DROPPING a weapon is the same (action-economy-wise) as Sheathing it? I think it's under Attacking or something in the Glossary, but I don't have the book.

You can actually view the relevant page on the Amazon listing for the PHB! It is indeed under "Attack" in the glossary.
