Interesting - no hardcover non-anthology adventure planned for the rest of 2024 or 2025, not even a smaller one like in Spelljammer or Planescape. They were the backbone of the release schedule for ten years, and now they're being put out to pasture for at least a year and a half.

Anyone more knowledgeable than me on that setting know what specific critters they'd likely bring forward? The phaerimm, maybe?

I wonder if there is no big AP next year because they are trying to time the next one with the final release of Project Sigil, which I would guess would be coming out in '26.

Dollars to donuts there is some Adventure material in the DM Faerun book. Wouldn't surprise me to find out the two books started design as a slipcase like Spelljammer and Planescape, and they evolved it into a DM and player facing one-two punch.

In fact, 1 of the 2 hints at their longterm story plans would be perfect for a 64-96 page portion of the DM book: a Rewld Wizards of Thay conspiracy. Would be perfect for a showcase of the Realms travelog.

I, fot one, would be very amused if Venger gets in the Starter Set as the BBEG behind the Chaos cult under the Caves of Vhaos.
