Oh, Dilbert. I remember when it was so on-point and funny in the late ‘90s.

Yeah, I've read it. The truth's of the comic, remain true.

As I've repeatedly stated in various essays, every one has different standards and breaking points, and I am not going to yuck on anyone else's yum.

Unfortunately, for me, I can't really enjoy Dilbert any more because of external factors. And as I said- I remember when it did speak to me. But that's me, not anyone else.

Specifically vampires: You're immortal. Your food is found almost literally everywhere on Earth. You can bend people to your will with a glance. Why would you ever need money?

Because most vampires can't do mass mind control, and people are liable to figure out what they're doing and take action about it. Money can pave over a lot of that (including finding food sources and covering your longevity in a way most people will not realize.
