Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

My girlfriend is a voracious reader. She's the kind of person who will read multiple books at the same time, bouncing back and forth between them.

Books take up a lot of space. We've got some Ikea bookshelves.. The big 4x4 cube shelf, you know the one.. Is totally full. Like books are double stacked on some shelves. Then in the living room we've got a couple of smaller shelves that are supposed to be multi-use.. Some books.. Some knick-knacks, movies, games, etc. They're each becoming infested with books as well.

Now.. Part of me thinks I shouldn't enable her. When the books start to pile up, that's typically when she's inspired to go through and trim down the collection, and we get to make a trip to the second hand book store to trade them in and I get to look for old adventure modules.

However, that part of me did not do the Christmas shopping. I bought her a new bookshelf. It's a narrow, but tall, five tier shelf, that rotates. It appears it should be able to hold around 100 books..

I'm pretty excited. I think I'm going to try and build it while she's at work next week, place the two books and other small gifts I got her on it, and then somehow wrap it.

too late for this christmas but still cool

@trappedslider
I've never heard of that movie but looks really good.

Rather than going to the theater, we've been enjoying rolling the dice and buying old classic movies in 4k we haven't seen before. Saves a ton of money and we have quite the collection of awesome movies now.

This will certainly be one of them, thanks!
I've heard of it for many years but never yet watched it, and it just came up in Sunday's Pendragon game.

Definitely going on the list!

The Lion in Winter is an excellent film. I think I saw it first as a movie then as the play because I was very excited to see it when my college put it on. A friend of mine was playing a very whiney Prince John.
Between this and Becket, we used to joke about Peter O'Toole being typecast as Henry II.

John: Poor John. Who says poor John? Don't everybody sob at once! My God, if I went up in flames there's not a living soul who'd pee on me to put the fire out!
Richard: Let's strike a flint and see.
