I was thinking the other day how sad I was Joffrey died in Game of Thrones. That kids was the best.

It's surprising that no one from Game of Thrones made the cut. Maybe, as with The Princess Bride, there's a glut of good villains and so they cancelled each other out?

William Goldman is pretty darn literary and George RR Martin ain't bad, either. Certainly more literary than Harry Potter.
