D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

Covers of Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun and Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerun.
We've known for some time that in November, WotC will be releasing not one but two Forgotten Realms books--one aimed at players, the other at Dungeon Masters. Thanks to Game Informer, we now have a look at the covers of Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun and Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerun. The article showcases more art, and is well worth checking out--and for those who want more, the print magazine has a full feature previewing the books.

I just really don't like the general art direction the D&D books are going in. Curls my lips in the negative way Wayne Reynolds art does.
ALL of it? From what I've seen, they've recently upped the variety of styles they present. Hopefully there will be some stuff you like within the contents of the books, even if you're not a fan of the previewed stuff. I guess we'll have to see.

General, not all. There's one or two pieces I do like (p. 6 of the 2024 PHB, for example), but it's only a small fraction. Certainly, none of the recent covers.

That's how I feel about the entirety of D&D's publication. Occasional stand-out pieces in a sea of art that doesn't move me in the slightest.
