It does seem pricey, but honestly to get that many color maps of that size printed, it’s pretty much going to cost that much.

I adore those first two maps, but I'm a sucker for isometric maps re: the second map. Are those in the FR books or are they B&G exclusives?

No idea, to be perfectly honest: the canvas map was made just for this product, but no idea about the others. They all look like theybare from a D&D book? And we do know there will be a bunch of maps.

@Distracted DM just double-checked: per Beyond, the Plaher book will have 12 maps, the DM book will have 52 maps. Sooooo, plenty of cartography to go around. I know kw @GarrettKP et al saw some of the Adventure maps from the actual books at GenCon.

I saw the email but didn’t notice if the b&G page mentioned digital maps if you buy the box. I highly doubt it but it would be nice if they did since I use a mix of maps and digital on the tv on the table. With D&D Beyond maps vtt also allowing movies file motion maps, those captivated my played]res last session like a 12 year old kid watching roller coaster go by at an amusement part!
They don’t make digital products. The digital maps will come from the D&D Beyond products for the respective books.

Looking at the DM Screens map again, I noticed the only location in the Old Empires Region noted by it, is the Untheric city of Messemprar.
Messemprar was once the biggest city in Unther, but it had been in decline when a group called Northern Wizards had taken it over when Gilgeam died. After that eventually Mulhorand conquered it, but six years later the Spellplague happened and city drowned. Then it became a Sahuagin city (the Sahuagin Kingdom of Aleaxtis is right off the coast of Unther, so when the water rose abd swallowed the city, Aleaxtis was able to claim it as their own).
Perhaps of the of the adventure none battle maps is set in Messwmprar or maybe AiF has an mini adventure set there or both.
Curious if it's ruins or if they rebuild the city.

No Tymanther mentioned. Sad, seems they wiped out the dragonborn of the Realms.
A couple of the early Beadle & Grimm boxes did include codes for the DNDBeyond versions of adventures, but I don't think that's been the case for recent releases.
