My favorite part of reddit is when people don't read an article (in a topic about that article), just make up a story based on whatever deeply weird interpretation of the headline they made, and then when someone points out they clearly did not read the article they insist that because the headline (or again, their very odd interpretation of it) didn't tell them everything in the article.
Or the topics where people are typing up very long, very opinionated posts about things they don't actually know anything about, but somehow get dozens/hundreds/thousands of upvotes and positive comments because redditors can not distinguish between a confidently incorrect person and a person who actually knows what they're talking about.
I might not actually have a favorite thing about reddit.
