Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

Whilst D&D was probably an influence on Robin of Sherwood, Unearthed Arcana was published in the same year, 1985, and was therefore too late.

NB Morgan Freeman may not be white, but he was still the wrong ethnicity for a Saracen.
Well, to be fair, Saracen isn’t an ethnicity but a catch-all Medieval English term for “Muslim person encountered during the Crusades” so not just Palestinian, Syrian etc. IIRC Azeem states he’s a Moor (which was also a medieval English term for any Muslim with dark skin) which probably means he’s from the Maghreb region of North Africa and is more or less the correct ethnicity.

Well, Rob is up the creek without a paddle now. Another soldier skewered by an arrow, and they're all after him.

We met Little John and his dog. I guess the next few episodes we're going to see the Merry Men slowly forming.

Is there no Guy of Gisbourne in this?

Im curious how many more corners Robert is going to be put into where he is forced to kill more Normans? It's not like Earl of Huntington needed anymore reasons to hunt him down.
