Prepping to play in store this coming weekend, it's striking how few interesting d12s there are out there, separate from their full polyhedral set. Black Oak Workshop, for instance, has zero of them.
My local Barnes & Noble has it and my local FLGS is going to be running a weekly game for the next five weeks. Is it weird that my local shop never has copies and doesn't even have a spot for them? I know they want the product (or did) but never seem to have any.
Is enough product still not being made?
A local indy bookstore has several on the shelves. The nearest Barnes & Noble stores have copies as well. Maybe it’s a shop problem. Is it weird that my local shop never has copies and doesn't even have a spot for them? I know they want the product (or did) but never seem to have any.

I ended up ordering two d12s from Chessex. Not flashy, but the green and blue dice I got don't look like the rest of my collection, so I can use them alongside whatever polyhedral set I bring to the game.Prepping to play in store this coming weekend, it's striking how few interesting d12s there are out there, separate from their full polyhedral set. I haven't seen it in play but do consider that the baseline Major thresholds of armor are only a few points between tiers. So for example if you're wearing Advanced Leather Armor at level 6 or 7, reducing damage by 3 points is the same as wearing the Tier 4 Legendary Leather Armor, for the purposes of the Major threshold. Still, if it feels bad to use the spell I could see it adjusted in two different ways. One would be to make it a per rest instead of long rest, or if you keep the long rest limit, turn it into an increasing 2d6 instead of 1d6.Is it just me or is the 6th level splendor ability "Zone of Protection" really underwhelming? Thinking about adjusting it to just reducing the HP allies in the zone must mark by 1 if they would mark at least Major damage or something.
