Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

Three different FDM printed halfling crossbow dudes.

Left to Right:
L: Very old bedslinger printer, 0.4 nozzle and Speedpaints.
C: BambuLab X1-C printer, 0.4 nozzle and Speedpaints and then washes (which made it too dark) - mini reduced in size to have a 25mm base size.
R: BambuLab X1-C printer. 0.2 nozzle and regular paints and washes - mini scale reduced.

Because I'd been just slapping out speedpaint minis for a while, I'd forgotten how much fun it was to do regular painting and the result is much better on the guy on the right... apologies for my iffy skills though hehe :)

Don't apologize. A few years back I painted a bear that ended up looking like it had the worst case of mange in the world. Even after all these years, I still paint some horrendous figures. Your painted minis look better than an unpainted mini (and better than my mangy bear). Keep up the good work!

Oh yeah, painted > unpainted, and TBH, I don't care, I really just enjoy the painting side of things and sometimes I get some happy accidents :)
